From Fiber to Feet

About a month or so ago, I received a lovely package in the mail from one of my favourite Etsy sellers, The Ranch.  It contained three different colourways of their lovely superwash batts.  One of the batts in the chocolate cherry colourway, jumped onto my wheel the same day I received it.  I don't think I have ever started spinning something that quickly, but I was just compelled to do so. 

This pretty pink fluff and I enjoyed some quality time together, and eventually this fluff became a pretty skein of pink yarn.

Since I began to spin, I've always wanted to knit a pair of socks with my own handspun.  I'm happy to report that this goal has now been accomplished.  Behold this pair of lovely thick sport weight socks, which I'm sure will spend time with me treadling my beloved (still nameless) Lendrum this winter while keeping my feet warm.
