Lately, I've been spending a lot of time looking around Etsy. What can I say, I Heart Etsy! There is so much available, that if money were no object, I tell ya, I could do damage.
My first purchase arrived last week, after my first day back at work. I received this gorgeous bracelet, made by Uli.
I've worn my bracelet a couple times already, and I love it. Uli is just new at jewelery making, but is doing an awesome job. She has many nice things listed in her Etsy Store.
Today, the first of what I'm sure will be many yarn purchases, arrived in my mailbox. Check out these two hanks of fingering weight superwash yarn, purchased from Lazy Perry Ranch (Epicurus).
I particularly like the "Pink and Brown" and I think that will be next on my sock knitting needles. By the way, this was a great seller to deal with, I'd highly recommend Collette. I know that I'll be purchasing from her again.
I love the whole concept of Etsy, and the opportunity to support indie artists. Do you have a favourite Etsy seller? Do share, please, be it yarn, jewelery, bags, whatever. I would really like to start my own Etsy shop, and I'm thinking that hand made cards may be what I will offer. Or maybe I'll fire up the soap making pot again, although for me, soap making is a summer activity as I do it outside. I have however purchased some supplies to make Birthday cards in the last couple days, so stay tuned.

I'm a big fan of Granny's Closet for knitting needle holders; I have two of hers in sock monkey fabric.

She's really great for custom stuff, too. (One of mine was custom.)

I have been staying away from buying more yarn! The pink and brown made me think of Neopolitan ice cream!
I signed up Monday for the Knitting Retreat through Shelley. Maybe we will meet there!

"Ice cream" was the first thing I thought of, too. I LOVE that pink and brown.

I love Etsy. Too much. I won't be an enabler and link you to my favorites. (Shhhh..actually I'm not sure I know how to link it!) But I have several linked on my blog. All yarn. Too tempting.
