Wednesday already, home stretch to the weekend. The main thing is to get through Thursday's dental appointment (two crowns), then I'll be looking forward to a bit of R & R.
I found out yesterday who my Secret Pal was....Ann of Fidget. Check out her blog, she's a fabulous knitter and was an absolutely wonderful Secret Pal. Ann, you're in my Bloglines now, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you better by reading your blog. I'll be checking your archives out a bit more when I have some free time (like this weekend).
I was a Secret Pal for Mary. She should be receiving her final package any day now. I read in Mary's blog that she likes the look of filet crochet. I used to do a lot of filet, but haven't for a few years now. I thought it was a great opportunity to make her something though, so her very first parcel from me included this:
Pattern from a previous issue of Crochet Me.
Okay, I better get going. I was hoping to get to work a bit early today, but if I don't hit the shower soon it's not going to happen. I leave you with this picture of Buttons and Bambi:
I'm looking forward to spending some time near that window with my knitting and crocheting come the weekend. Hope your week is going well.
Brenda,
Thanks for visiting my blog. The shawl is looking quite lovely and I'm itching to finish it so I can start another lacy Shetland shawl. I'll definitely post a picture when this one is done 'cause it'll be a proud accomplishment.
I'll be going to the MD Sheep & Wool festival this weekend and I plan to buy some more Mohair to go with the lovely handpainted Mohair hanks you sent me. I plan to make a shrug.
Blessings,
Evelyn

WOW it looks SOOOOO green behind the cats. Did you notice how yellow/brown/yuck/gross the lawn looks behind me in the cardi photo? The snow has only just finished melting. Really hard to find anywhere to take a picture in our yard....it is yucky grass or holes dug by dogs and kids toys (cars, backloaders, tractor etc).
