Uli - The Slow Poke
The start of my cardigan has been a long time in the making. I don't even know if anyone is still around or in the process of working on theirs. But maybe I can breathe some life back into this project for others that may have stalled out by posting that I have finally bit the bullet and have started.
Since the taking of this picture, I have finished the corrugated ribbing and have moved on to the first few pattern rows. So far, so good. I'm having fun. I think it will be a long term project but that's alright. I'd like to wear it by fall!!!!
I have another picture up on my blog - Uli's Creative Corner
Come on over and take a peek.

Wow. I thought I was the lone person who needed to restart. Maybe I'll take it back up along side you... : )
I've never gotten the courage back from my third big rrrriiippp!

I haven't even skiened my yarn yet (yes, I've had it long enough to have purchased it in hanks!)
I keep bumping other projects in front of it, mainly because I need to use up the yarn stashed for my kids' projects before they outgrow them ;)

Those look like great colours. I love how the ribbing looks so far.

Hi Uli,
Yeah! Once you get one pattern repeat then it gets really exciting. I just finished the sweater body (I started in August) and am getting up the courage to cut the steeks for the armholes. Can't wait to see your blog!!

Looks great, and once you start going it is hard to stop. I found my sticking points were getting the sleeves started, then the facings at the end.

I have started mine and that is about it. So, no, there are still lots of us out there who are just beginning our Kaunis!
