Lily is all finished and assembled. (click on the thumbnail to enlarge)
I'm happy with the way it turned out, Julie's pattern was very easy to follow. I was going to embellish it with some crocheted flowers, but think I'm happy with it in its plain state, so will leave it well enough alone. I don't want it to look junky. I think this will be a great tote for carrying my lunch and other miscellaneous items to work, but for now it is a project bag holding my fleece artist shawl. Did you know that there was a Purse knit-a-long? You can find the link in my sidebar. I joined it mainly because Lily was in danger of vanquishing in the UFO pile, the knit-a-long gave me the incentive I needed to finish it. Gotta love Knit-a-longs!

pretty bag.

That looks really, really good. I love it. I've got the Lily pattern at home, too. One of these days, I'll get to it.

Great bag Brenda! Cool colour.
I think I am going to have to attempt another bag as soon as I have finished Shapely Tank.

Lilly is very lucious! I'm just finishing the French Market Bag from Knitty. I may just have to get the Lilly kit - great design.

The bag is beautiful. I love the color and the shape. Great job. Hope the family crud eases up for you. I know how annoying that can be.

Love the Lily bag and tempted to order the pattern... Did that designers Booga Bag and really enjoyed the results.
Don't let extended family stuff get you down.. sometimes keeping peace within the immediate is challenging enough without letting the rest consume you.. All the best with that stuff.

Nice work! What a great color, especially for spring. I'm trying to decide on a first felted bag project.
